IFIAR appoints Executive Director
IFIAR appoints Executive Director
Following the conclusion of an open and competitive recruitment process we are pleased to announce that the new Executive Director of IFIAR will be Julia Rendschmidt, who is currently Head of Division for EU and International Affairs with the German Auditor Oversight Body. Julia has extensive experience as a national regulator within the German AOB. She also currently represents Germany at board level within IFIAR and at plenary level on the Committee of European Auditing Oversight Bodies (CEAOB). Julia will commence her role on 1 October.
On behalf of the board we would like to express our appreciation to Delon Abrams for his role over these past several months as Acting Executive Director. He ensured that IFIAR remained on an even keel and continued to operate as effectively as ever.
We look forward to Julia joining the team and building on IFIAR’s success to date.
